The Federal Government has announced the next phase of the ongoing recruitment exercise into agencies under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), directing applicants to visit the official recruitment portal for further instructions.
The Board stated that candidates who participated in the earlier stages of the recruitment exercise should log into the portal to verify their application status and obtain details regarding subsequent stages of the selection process.
According to the announcement, the exercise covers recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
The government advised applicants to regularly monitor the official recruitment platform for updates relating to screening schedules, document verification procedures and other relevant information.
It stressed that the recruitment process remained entirely free of charge and warned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters demanding money in exchange for employment opportunities.
“The Board wishes to reiterate that all official communications concerning the recruitment exercise will be conveyed solely through the designated portal and authorised government channels,” the statement noted.
The Federal Government further urged candidates to ensure that all required credentials and supporting documents were readily available ahead of the next stage of the exercise.
The CDCFIB, which is responsible for coordinating recruitment into the four paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior, reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible and merit-driven recruitment process.
Prospective candidates were also encouraged to exercise patience and comply strictly with all guidelines issued by the Board to avoid disqualification.
Meanwhile, the official recruitment portal indicates that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) phase has been concluded, with successful applicants expected to receive further directives through the platform.
Applicants are therefore advised to remain vigilant, rely only on information obtained from official sources and disregard unverified messages circulating on social media regarding the exercise.
