    Energia Nigerian oil and gas joint-venture company, has announced the commencement of applications for its 2026 Graduate Trainee Programme, aimed at developing young professionals for the energy sector.
    In a statement on Wednesday, the company said the initiative was designed to equip young graduates with technical competence, industry exposure and leadership capabilities required to operate in the country’s dynamic oil and gas environment.
    According to Energia, the programme will offer selected candidates hands-on experience across technical and business functions, mentorship from experienced professionals, and monthly remuneration throughout the training period.
    It said outstanding performers may be absorbed into full-time employment upon successful completion of the programme.
    The company said the opportunity was open to Nigerian graduates with degrees in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Process, Computer, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, as well as Geoscience, Business or Finance.
    Energia stated that applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division or a Second Class Lower Division with a Master’s degree obtained with distinction.
    It added that eligible candidates must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in 2023 or later.
    The company said applicants were expected to demonstrate strong analytical abilities, leadership potential, teamwork skills and excellent communication competence.

    KIUTH announces recruitment for multiple clinical positions



    Kashim Ibrahim University Teaching Hospital, Maiduguri, has announced the commencement of recruitment into several clinical positions as part of efforts to strengthen its workforce and improve healthcare services in Borno State.

    The institution, in an official vacancy announcement signed by its management, invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for nine categories of clinical roles across different departments.

    According to the notice, the available positions include Medical Officer (CONMESS 3), Pharmacist (CONHESS 09), Radiographer (CONHESS 09), Physiotherapist (CONHESS 09), Medical Laboratory Scientist (CONHESS 09), Medical Laboratory Technician (CONHESS 06), Nurse (CONHESS 06), Health Information Management Officer (CONHESS 06), and Environmental Health Officer (CONHESS 06).

    The hospital outlined specific academic and professional requirements for each role.

    The hospital also seeks qualified Nurses with RN or RM certifications and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

    For Health Information Management Officers, an ND in Health Information Management, registration with HRORBN and computer proficiency are required.

    Environmental Health Officer applicants must hold an ND in Environmental Health Technology and be registered with EHORECON.

    The hospital stressed that all positions require ICT proficiency and that NYSC discharge or exemption certificates are mandatory for eligible categories.

    Borno State Scholarships Board Opens Applications For Aviation Degree Programmes

    The Borno State Scholarships Board has announced the commencement of applications for state-sponsored admissions into aviation-related degree programmes, specifically Aircraft Piloting and Aircraft Engineering, aimed at supporting qualified indigenes aspiring to pursue careers in the aviation industry.

    In a public announcement issued in Maiduguri, the Board called on interested and eligible candidates from Borno State to submit their applications alongside required academic and identification documents.

    According to the statement, applicants must provide photocopies of their Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) results with credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and at least one of Geography, Biology, Agriculture, Further Mathematics or Technical Drawing.

    In addition, applicants are expected to submit an indigene certificate, birth certificate, primary school certificate, as well as their 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result, which must reflect a minimum score of 160.

    The Board stated that the deadline for submission is Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, and all documents are to be submitted at the Borno State Scholarships Board office in Maiduguri.

    As part of the selection process, an aptitude test will be conducted for all candidates who meet the eligibility requirements. The test is scheduled to take place on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at the ICT Centre, Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri, beginning at 8:00 a.m. prompt.

    The announcement further advised candidates to come with their original JAMB score slips and other original documents for verification during the aptitude test.

    The Scholarships Board reiterated its commitment to supporting educational advancement and creating opportunities for youths in specialised fields such as aviation, which it described as critical to the state’s long-term development goals.
